This month Fundación Tropicalia hosted specialized workshops for the associations of agricultural producers Juan Pablo Duarte and La Esperanza, two organizations working with Fundación Tropicalia and USAID/RED in the greenhouse initiative in Miches. These workshops, led by Maria Vólquez, the manager of the FONDESA offices in Miches, covered topics on running a greenhouse business and managing investments effectively. Now that the La Gina community has welcomed its newly constructed greenhouse, this is just one more step towards a sustainable agriculture sector in Miches.

Every Day is Girl’s Day!

Students from the Padre Daniel High School, local authorities, colleagues from the National Council for Children and Adolescents (CONANI), and presidents of the neighborhood councils attended the forum.
