In January, Fundación Tropicalia celebrated the seventh annual party that honors the School Renovation and Maintenance Program (PRyME), and its volunteer network, where we recognized their hard work, leadership, dedication, time and skills to improve Miches´ schools in the 12-04 district. Fundación Tropicalia’s PRyME began in 2008, and today has 12 schools in its network.

MICHES, Dominican Republic – By the end of last year, Fundación Tropicalia’s School Recovery and Maintenance Program (Programa Recuperación y Mantenimiento de Escuelas – PRyME) had benefited ten schools in terms of infrastructure improvement and maintenance thanks to the support of the communities who took ownership of their schools and worked to improve them.
