Fundación Tropicalia is proud to announce that they have signed with the Multilateral Investment Fund of the Inter-American Development Bank (MIF-IDB) to support an ambitious project for the “Inclusion of Small and Micro Enterprises in the Sustainable Tourism Supply Chain in Miches” and strengthen the productive capacity of the local Miches economy. This 36-month development project will facilitate the creation of a local supply chain in Miches in an effort to meet future demand generated by Tropicalia and its partners. Additionally, it supports an inclusive and shared value business model by establishing a sustainable and environmentally responsible access to the local market, which will increase the income of agricultural producers and SME service providers in Miches. This $1.6 million project expects to organically certify 300-500 agricultural producers and will establish 5-10 SMEs to supply goods and services to Tropicalia.
