On March 29th, volunteers from the Miches community and from afar came together for the 4th edition of “New Face for Miches” (Nueva Cara para Miches) to paint the facades of homes that line the entrance to Miches. Under the direction of partner artists of Artemiches, volunteers receive guidance and paint murals reminiscent of iconic Miches’ landscapes, all in an effort to beautify these homes and come together for a day of work and fun. In total, approximately 30 homes were painted, benefitting a community of about 150 people. Fundación Tropicalia has been supporting Artemiches, a non-profit organization that coordinates activities and projects for the benefit of art and culture in the town of Miches, since 2008.
