In January, Fundación Tropicalia celebrated the seventh annual party that honors the School Renovation and Maintenance Program (PRyME), and its volunteer network, where we recognized their hard work, leadership, dedication, time and skills to improve Miches´ schools in the 12-04 district. Fundación Tropicalia’s PRyME began in 2008, and today has 12 schools in its network.

And did you know 44% of teenage school dropouts are a result of early pregnancy? In 2016, more than 790,000 (37%) of Dominican girls were married before reaching the age of 18.
