In January, Fundación Tropicalia celebrated the seventh annual party that honors the School Renovation and Maintenance Program (PRyME), and its volunteer network, where we recognized their hard work, leadership, dedication, time and skills to improve Miches´ schools in the 12-04 district. Fundación Tropicalia’s PRyME began in 2008, and today has 12 schools in its network.

"Listen to me, I am the present" showcases the voices of young girls that have participated in our initiative and captures their declarations about what it means to be "them". The work of Soy niña, soy importante seeks to empower girls from an early age, encouraging them to reach for their dreams.
