This month Fundación Tropicalia celebrated the 4th anniversary of its School Renovation and Maintenance Program (PRyME) at the vocational School of the Armed Forces and National Police in Miches. The celebration counted with nearly 200 attendees from the 12 schools belonging to the PRyME network, as well as technical personnel from the district and representatives from FONDESA, World Vision and the National Armed Forces.

This annual celebration serves to honor the program and commemorate the communities’ participation throughout the year.  Acknowledgements were made to celebrate the year’s achievements and three schools were recognized for their commitment to the program and maintenance of their education centers. Attendees enjoyed a typical sancocho dinner and topped off the night with some dancing
