Universidad ISA and Fundacion Tropicalia committed to yet another year of scholarships. After a comprehensive selection process that includes submitting a statement of purpose, and undergoing aptitude and socio-emotional testing, three more Miches high school grads will be joining the ranks as an ISA/FT scholarship student. To date, a total of 12 students enjoy an ISA/FT scholarship and are pursuing their bachelor’s degrees in agronomy or business administration. Another four Miches students are on a full scholarship at ISA in pursuit of their degree in Education & Natural Sciences, paid for by the Ministry of Education, for a total of 16 Miches students at ISA. We are also happy to share that three of our scholarship students also made the Dean’s Honor Roll last semester.
Fundación Tropicalia and Universidad ISA provide three more scholarship opportunities

Access to International Financing Promising for Fundación Tropicalia and Tropicalia
This month, Fundación Tropicalia received great news from the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF) of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) – our innovative, socio-economic development project which will incorporate local businesses into Tropicalia’s supply chain, received the first of two approvals for funding. Having received “eligibility” status from an IDB commission based in Washington, D.C., technical teams from Fundación Tropicalia and the FOMIN can get to work on designing the minute details of the project and present it for final approval before the year’s end.
